The Ministry

In 2016, a journey began to serve God in a whole new way. After a 31-month journey, I became a worker at SIM USA in 2019, eventually taking on the role of Director of Worker Finance.

God has shaped my ministry to oversee a team of worker finance coordinators, travel, and manage finances for workers in South Asia, Japan and Africa. My purpose is simple: to care for the worker so they can focus on their core ministry.

"Seek first his kingdom..."

All around the world there are people who haven’t heard of Jesus or the Gospel. SIM goes to the hard places to bring the Good News. A common source of anxiety for the worker is money. My role is to provide that expertise so they can stay focused.

In their own words...

We are Tim and Betsy Kubacki and have been working with SIM in Cavango, a rural hospital in central Angola, Africa for 10+ years. We work with fellow SIM workers, Eduardo and Jocelyn DeSouza and Laurel Bennett in providing basic health care to many living remotely in this region, treating patients who arrive from villages and cities from several hundred kilometers away, arriving by foot and motorbike at all hours, every day. Cavango is a busy hospital that saw about 10,000 patients in 2022 and is able to care for so many forgotten people living remotely because of the financial support we receive from around the world, through SIM. Jason and the financial team with SIM are instrumental in our care for every single patient. The financial partners we have through SIM enable us to put every one of our 100+ inpatients in beds under a roof, with running water and solar electricity. The financial support from our partners with SIM allows us to build housing and purchase medicines, instruments, lab materials, and ultrasound and X-ray machines, normally unavailable to this population. We couldn’t be more grateful for the support we receive from Jason and the SIM financial team. Your support of Jason is essential to the care of those we serve. You will never be known by those you help in Cavango but our Father knows and your support allows Him to love these people in practical ways, saving lives that will impact generations in this globally forgotten and neglected area. The partnership we have through SIM and the finance team is such a beautiful Kingdom work, on which we rely daily. Thank you!

"Seek first his kingdom..."
